English Contest for CNPEC Held Successfully in 2020

   On July 14, the CNPEC English competition sponsored by Youth Corps Committee and hosted by Nuclear Power Engineering College was successfully held in AE220 classroom. More than 70 employees took part in the competition enthusiastically. The top 5 employees who won the finals will represent CNPEC in the Group's 2020 English Skills Competition.

   This competition is divided into two rounds. The first round is written examination, which is divided into three parts: document review, Chinese-English translation and imagination expression. It mainly inspects the contestants' English listening, professional English vocabulary, reading and writing, and the company's common sense of foreign work.

   The second round is oral test, which is divided into three parts: self-introduction, topic exposition and question answer. It mainly inspects the contestants' oral expression ability and scores the contestants from fluency, accuracy and logicality.

   The judges of this competition fully affirmed the contestants' professional English expression and clear logical thinking, and the audience applauded the contestants' wonderful performance.

In the end, Huang Tao (PSE), Wang Jing (FNE), Qiao Jianwang (EDE), Yin Wencheng (EDE) and Huang Nali (PTE) won the top five places in the finals and will represent the company in the Group's 2020 English Skills Competition.
